Is there a baby on the way? Congratulations! Do you want to paint the nursery yourself? Great!
Here are some tips and tricks for painting a nursery:
Choose a low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paint to ensure the room is safe and healthy for the baby.
If possible, paint the nursery before the baby arrives to allow for proper drying and ventilation.
Use painter's tape to create clean lines and protect trim and baseboards from accidental drips.
Start by painting the ceiling and work your way down to the walls and trim.
Use a paint roller for large surfaces and a paintbrush for smaller areas and touch-ups.
If you're working with a darker color, consider applying a primer first to help the new paint color go on smoothly and evenly.
Take breaks and open windows to ensure proper ventilation while painting.
When you're finished painting, be sure to clean your brushes and rollers thoroughly to extend their life.
If possible; don't let the pregnant lady do the work :)
